We recently had the opportunity to install a Sunesta Sentry retractable screen very similar to a Phantom retractable screens in Oldsmar, FL (That’s just West of Tampa in Pinellas County). Our customer was not able to enjoy her outside seating area on her patio due to the intense sun and glare she was experiencing. One of her favorite pass-times is reading out in the fresh air, but she was unable to read her book due to the glare and heat from her western exposure.
Retractable Screens
In order to solve that problem, a Sunesta retractable shade screen was installed between two aluminum pillars on her patio. She chose a white cassette to blend in seamlessly with the rest of her pool enclosure. In order to provide solar shade in addition to insect protection, she went with a 90% block solar screen in a charcoal color, which as the name suggests, blocks ninety percent of the sun.
